Timeless-Pray

Updated: May 3, 2021

"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one Go and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4:1-6(ESV)

Instructions for Prayer

These instructions on prayer are simple and practical:

In general, it is good practice to begin each day with prayer. As a matter of course, we should surrender our days to the Lord, and invite Him to lead and guide us through His Holy Spirit.

Pray should be the first thing we do each morning and the last thing we do each night. The very best gift we can give ourselves is to pray throughout our days.

Whenever you can, it is good to kneel in prayer to demonstrate humility and to acknowledge the glory, holiness, omnipotence, and honor of God.

Be clear about what you are seeking. God's path to unifying generations requires that you be committed in your heart to do only what He tells you to do.

To open the door for God to do a work of unity for past, present, and future generations, you must understand that He is all-powerful. He does all the heavy lifting, not you. Our responsibility is to posture ourselves in such a way that He can work through us to achieve His purpose. We are merely conduits. He does the work.

Have an attitude of gratitude. Be thankful for what God is going to do. Have faith, and claim it done in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ!

Always pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

You must always speak the Amen firmly. This is how we say "YES!" to God's Will being done. Never doubt that God wants the best for us at all times. He hears your prayers and will answer them according to His Will.

Remember, have an attitude of faith, humility, and gratitude, and pray often.

Unity Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Holy is Your Name. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to save the world. May Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Please forgive us for our sins as we forgive those that have done things against us. Help us to see that if we hold these things in our hearts, we are dishonoring You and Your love, and therefore, we are only hurting ourselves. Thank You for revealing Your Divine Plan for unity through our Precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Everything You do is good and perfect, and if we surrender ourselves to Your Will, the outcome will be according to Your purpose and our spiritual good.

Thank You for helping me as I commit myself to align my motivations, intentions, desires, and actions with Your purpose for my life. Thank You for helping me to understand that I have been strategically positioned by You. Long before I entered my mother's womb, You appointed the date and time of my birth. And not only that, You appointed the place where I would be born and the family I would be born into. I understand that I can achieve something for Your Kingdom for the bloodline of my biological birth, and for generations to come. Please help me to see what I need to see, to hear what I need to hear, and to do what I need to do in order that I may satisfy Your requirement for my life.

I invite Your Holy Spirit to do a work within me, to help me be humble, obedient, strong, and faithful to Your assignment. I pray this in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
