Dear Heavenly Father,
You are Holy, and there is none like You. There are no words in the human vocabulary that are sufficient to praise and honor You for all that You have done. You’ve given us this planet for a habitation. Every day the sun shines, and every night the moon and stars light up the night sky. You give us air to breathe, and You alone have kept us all the days of our lives. Thank You for Your bountiful blessings. Thank You for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and for what he accomplished for us on the cross. Because of what You have done through him, we are saved and have Your Holy Spirit living within us.
Please forgive me for all the things I’ve said, thought, felt, and done that were against Your Word and Will. Thank You for opening my eyes to wrongdoing and for helping me to be better. Thank You for cleansing me from sin and giving me right standing with You through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Through him, You made it possible for me to stand before You, at any time, without feeling guilty or condemned. I can stand before You and feel good about how You see me, not because of anything that I have done, but because of what You have done for me through Christ. You blessed us through Christ because You wanted us in Your family.
Thank You, Father God, that even though I am not perfect, I am perfectly fashioned for Your divine purpose. My family is not perfect, but I exist because You ordained me to come through their bloodline. Thank You for giving them to me and me to them. Thank You for blessing me to be a conduit of Your love to my family and loved ones, and for blessing us all with Your unconditional and everlasting love through Jesus Christ. Thank You for protecting and providing for me, my family, and loved ones all the days of our lives. You are worthy of all glory and praise, and we magnify and bless Your holy name. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
