Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being so good to me, and for the many blessings You have given me. You are a wonderful and loving Father, and it is the greatest privilege of my life to praise and worship You. 2Samuel 22:3-4(NLT) says, “My God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. I called on the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies.” This is who You are to us! You have all power in Your hands, and You will always help Your people in our time of need.
Thank You for blessing me in the workplace, Dear Father. Please grant me divine favor with management and my coworkers. Thank You for equipping me with the wisdom, knowledge, and ability to complete the tasks in front of me and thank You for giving me promotion and elevation on my job.
I know that there is a reason and purpose for everything You do. You are not wasteful or redundant. You are a God of order, and we have a duty and responsibility to apply Your order to our lives. You are an on-purpose God and You created us to be an on-purpose people. Understanding that nothing about us is a mistake and that You have a purpose for the desires You have placed in our hearts is very important to moving forward in Your Will. So, asking You for blessings to go higher means I must have an intention and desire to bless others as well as myself. The example of Jesus Christ teaches us that we should be more interested in blessing others than we are about benefiting ourselves. This is Your heart, and it was the heart that Christ demonstrated when he walked the earth.
It’s in this mindset and heart-set that I ask for promotion and elevation, so that I’m in a better financial position to care of my family. You are not pleased with greed, and I recognize that greed doesn’t come from Your Kingdom. I’m thanking You for increase and abundance so that I can increase in Your purpose, so that I can do the things You have called me to do and be the man You have called me to be.
Thank You Father for hearing my prayer. Thank You for reminding me to save my financial resources responsibly, and to be a good steward of Your many blessings. In the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
