Thank You for My New Job

Updated: Feb 7, 2022

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being a God that sits high and looks low. You are awesome and amazing! I give You all the glory and honor, because You and You alone are worthy of the praise! You have guided me all my days, and my desire is to follow Your Will and Plan for my life. Thank You for Your many blessings, for how You’ve protected me, provided for me, and fought my battles. Thank You for both my victories and my struggles in the past. Even though things were tough at times, through my tribulations, You taught me how to lean only on You. I learned patience and endurance. So, I am thankful, Dear Father, for my past, for what You are doing for me in the present, and I thank You for where You are taking me in the future. Jeremiah 29:11 assures me that You have a good plan for my life, and Romans 8:28 cosigns this by telling me that You cause all things to work together for my good.

Father, please give me guidance and promotion in the workplace. As a man, You have anointed me to be a provider not just for myself, but for those that You will place under my care. You have already given me all the spiritual blessings I need to be strengthened in Christ and to have a more than abundant life according to Your divine plan. I thank You that as I put action behind my faith, that You reveal the best job (career or profession) for me. Thank You for opening the door to a great opportunity to work in an environment that is positive and welcoming. Thank You for causing all things to work together for my benefit and for the benefit of those that I will impact through Your love and goodness. Thank You for favor with my boss and colleagues. Thank You that the wages (salary) are more than adequate to meet my financial obligations and thank You that I am financially able to be the blessing You desire me to be for my family and others. I will not be selfish with Your blessings, for this does not please You. I will honor You with my tithe and offerings so that I sow into Your Kingdom and open many more opportunities to be blessed and to be a blessing to others.

Father, I thank You that as I pray this now, You have already began working in my favor. I thank You with a heart of faith and gratitude, because You always make a way for me. In the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
