Strategically Positioned to Leave a Legacy

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are Holy, and I humbly come before You and know that You are all-powerful, all-knowing, and wonderfully loving. Please, Father, forgive me for my sins. Forgive me for the actions I’ve committed that have caused me to distance myself from pleasing You and from giving You the honor and glory You so richly deserve. Thank You for opening my eyes to the things that will help me be the person You have called me to be. There are so many things I may not understand, but one thing I do realize, I couldn’t have made it to where I am in my life without Your guiding hand.

Thank You for allowing me to accomplish and achieve success in life. I recognize that it isn’t just about me, but it is also about those that I can influence and help, just as others have done so for me. You have a purpose for every individual, and none of the details of our lives are random. You have strategically positioned us in our families, communities, and places of work, and because of it, we have met many people. Please help us to be obedient to Your voice and to follow Your directions and guidance when You give us the privilege of being a blessing. You will tell us the who, what, when, and where if we are attentive to obey Your voice.

Thank You for helping us to recognize that leaving a legacy of Your love through Jesus Christ is the greatest thing anyone can ever hope to do. Whether it is in the workplace or outside of it, thank You for quickening us through Your Holy Spirit so that we will not be blind to what You’ve called us to do. Your love never stops giving, and when we do good deeds through Your love, we have an opportunity to expand Your Kingdom and leave an enduring legacy. Thank You for helping us to do this as we follow the example of Jesus Christ. In his powerful and precious name we pray. Amen.
