Dear Heavenly Father,
You are holy and magnificent, and You deserve all praise, glory, and honor. Thank You for the privilege of being Your child. Thank You for forgiving me for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me for all the things that I have said, thought, felt, and done that were not in alignment with Your holy Word. I am sorry, for the wrong I have done, and I thank You for helping me to become all that You desire me to be.
Thank You for blessing all the children that are being born this very moment. Thank You for protecting them and making sure they have plenty to eat and clothes on their backs. Thank You for helping them to grow up strong and healthy. Most importantly, thank You for helping them to know You through Your matchless Word. Thank You for allowing someone to cross their paths that will speak the life-changing truth of Your Word into their lives, so they can be in fellowship with You, through Jesus Christ.
Thank You for blessings those that are struggling today for whatever reason. They may feel as though they have nowhere to turn and no one to talk to. They don’t know that Jesus Christ is the light of the world, and that they can turn to him. He said in Matthew 11:28-30(NIV) “28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
You want every individual to turn to You and to seek forgiveness for their sins. You gave Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for our sins so we can have the gift of eternal life. When we turn to You through Christ, You will take our problems and burdens and give us rest. Thank You for making a way for those that are burdened to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
Dear Lord, I’m not perfect. I have sinned, but through Your grace, I am saved! I desire to know You even more, and I thank You for teaching me and showing me Your tremendous grace and mercy every day. I recognize that as a believer in Christ and as Your child, I have a responsibility to not just talk about Your goodness but to show it. 1Corinthians 4:20(NIV) says, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” I desire to do my part, Heavenly Father. I desire to do the things You have called me to do. Thank You for opening my eyes to opportunities to leave a legacy of Your love and goodness. Thank You for giving me a clean heart, one free of jealousy, selfishness, arrogance, bitterness, and doubt. Thank You for renewing a right spirit within me, so that I may honor You with my whole life. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, I pray this prayer. Amen.
